LeBron James and Stephen Curry: Goodbye to the 2028 Olympics?

In a recent podcast conversation, NBA superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry hinted that they do not plan to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

“You already know my answer,” James affirmed.

James, who will be 43 years old during the 2028 Olympic Games, seems determined to follow the competition from afar. Curry, for his part, although not so blunt, also expressed his doubts about his participation.

“God willing, I will still have the option and the physical ability to impact the team,” Curry said. “Never say never, but I highly doubt it. I highly doubt it.”

James has an outstanding Olympic career, with a bronze medal in 2004 and golds in 2008, 2012, and 2024. Curry, for his part, debuted at the 2024 Olympic Games, offering a memorable performance in the gold medal match.
