Giannis Antetokounmpo leads Greece to victory in EuroBasket

In an exciting encounter for the bronze medal at the EuroBasket, Giannis Antetokounmpo proved his worth by scoring 30 points and grabbing 17 rebounds, leading Greece to a 92-89 victory over Finland.

This triumph marks Greece’s first medal at the EuroBasket since 2009, the year they also won bronze.

“We did it. This is probably one of the biggest achievements I’ve had as an athlete,” said Antetokounmpo, star of the Milwaukee Bucks, champion and NBA MVP. “I know I’ve won an NBA championship, but there’s no feeling like representing your national team and the 12 million people who breathe and live for this team. This is probably the biggest achievement so far in my life.”
