Free agent center Bismack Biyombo has reached an agreement to sign a one-year contract with the San Antonio Spurs, marking his return to the team.The news was confirmed on Monday, after Biyombo and his representatives from Wasserman reached an agreement for the player’s 15th season in the NBA.In the previous season, Biyombo averaged 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 28 games played.Biyombo joined the Spurs in February and now returns as a backup center, behind Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet.Since being selected seventh overall in the 2011 NBA draft, Biyombo has played for seven teams in the league.Throughout his career, he has averaged 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 19.5 minutes per game, in a total of 867 games, with 377 as a starter.
