Free agent center Bismack Biyombo has signed a one-year contract to return to the San Antonio Spurs, it was announced on Monday.
The agreement was finalized between the Spurs and Biyombo’s representatives at Wasserman, guaranteeing his participation in his fifteenth season in the NBA.
In the past season, Biyombo averaged 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 28 games.
Biyombo joined the Spurs in February. Now he returns as a substitute center, behind Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet.
Since being selected in the seventh overall position in the 2011 NBA draft, Biyombo has played for seven league teams.
Throughout his career, he has averaged 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 19.5 minutes per game, in a total of 867 games, with 377 as a starter.
