Moya received the devastating news of his wife’s passing, an event that has shocked the sports community.

Currently, Moya plays with the Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (Lidom) and leads the CPBL in several offensive statistics this season. His outstanding performance had made him a key figure in the All-Star Game. The left-handed pitcher has a distinguished career in baseball. He previously played for the Toros del Este and was acquired by the Tigres del Licey in February 2024. However, he did not debut with the team, being released in March of the same year.
