Soles del Este Strengthens its Roster: Thomas, Familia, and Salazar Join the Fight for the Title in the LNB

SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- Los Soles del Este se refuerzan con la incorporación de tres jugadores clave para aspirar al campeonato en la próxima temporada de la Súper Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB).

Daylin Thomas, José Familia and Josué Salazar joined the training sessions this Friday at the sports complex of the El Millón club, preparing for the start of the 2025 tournament on Tuesday, May 13.

Daylin Thomas, a native guard from San Pedro de Macorís, was the first pick of Soles del Este in the 2025 draft of the LNB Super League. Juan Correa and Starlin Ynoa, selected in the second and third rounds, are also participating in the training sessions.

Familia and Salazar, both players with experience in the league, will bring their athletic and technical quality to the team.

Soles del Este’s training sessions are under the direction of Anderson Cabreja, who has Miguel Reyes (Moreno) and Jochy Fulgencio as assistants.

Practices will continue this Saturday at 6:00 PM at El Millón club.

The Soles will play seven of their 14 home games at the Rolando Ramírez sports center of the Tomás Binet Sports Complex, in San Pedro de Macorís.

Soles del Este’s first encounter in the LNB Super League will be on Wednesday, May 14 against Leones de Santo Domingo at the Mauricio Báez club’s sports complex.

Their next home game will be against Marineros de Puerto Plata at the Rolando Ramírez sports complex, at 8:00 PM.

On Monday, May 12, a press conference will be held to present the Soles team for the 2025 contest in the conference room of the Tetelo Vargas Stadium.
