Seattle Seahawks joins the two-time Super Bowl champions club

The Seattle Seahawks have secured their place in NFL history by joining the select group of teams with multiple Super Bowl victories. This Sunday, the team achieved its second title, solidifying its legacy in the sport. The 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX catapulted the Seahawks to the same level as other prominent franchises.
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
All these teams, like the Seahawks, have won two Lombardi trophies since the Super Bowl was established in 1967. This was Seattle’s fourth appearance in the NFL championship game. Previously, the team celebrated victory in the XLVIII edition against the Denver Broncos. In addition to their triumphs, the Seahawks also experienced defeat in Super Bowl XL, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and in XLIX against the Patriots, whom they defeated on this occasion. New England’s defeat prevented them from becoming the team with the most Super Bowl titles, remaining with six, tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the list of NFL champions, the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys follow with five titles each. The Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers, and the New York Giants, with four titles each, also stand out in the league’s history. Other teams with three wins are the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Washington Commanders. The Chicago Bears, the New York Jets, and the New Orleans Saints complete the list of teams with a Lombardi trophy. The Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings share the record of four Super Bowl losses without any victories. Finally, the Cleveland Browns, the Detroit Lions, the Houston Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the only NFL teams that have not yet played in a Super Bowl.
