San Lázaro Demonstrates Superiority over Footprints of the Century in the TBS District 2025
Santo Domingo – Club San Lázaro imposed its law on Huellas del Siglo this Sunday, achieving a resounding victory with a score of 93-77. The match, corresponding to the second date of the regular season of the TBS Distrito 2025, showed the supremacy of San Lázaro from the beginning.
The San Lázaro offensive was distributed among several players, with five of them reaching ten or more points. Anderson García, Lewis Duarte, and Anderson Mirambeaux led the attack, each with 14 points. This outstanding performance significantly contributed to San Lázaro’s victory in the first game of the TBS Distrito 2025.
Anderson García also contributed nine rebounds, while AJ Bramah added 12 points and nine rebounds. Victor Liz contributed 10 points.
By Huellas del Siglo, Timmy Bond and Emmanuel Egbuta stood out with 21 points each, and Juan Páez contributed 13 points and six rebounds.
With this result, San Lázaro, Los Prados and Bameso are positioned with a 1-0 record, while Mauricio Báez, El Millón and Huellas del Siglo register 0-1.
It is important to note that the San Lázaro and Mauricio Báez clubs are the only teams that have participated in the capital event since 1974.
The match between the teams from the Jobo Bonito and Cristo Rey neighborhoods took place in the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Pavilion, of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
The TBS Distrito 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), led by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is chaired by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency.
This year, the tournament is dedicated to Evaristo Pérez, Dominican Sports Immortal and former player of the national basketball team, as well as former player of the San Carlos team.
