Productive Day for Dominican Republic in the Bolivarian Games
The delegation of the Dominican Republic had an outstanding participation on Day XI of the XX Bolivarian Games, adding six new medals in various disciplines. These achievements consolidate their position in the overall medal table, occupying seventh place with a total of 43 medals: 8 gold, 11 silver, and 24 bronze.Rowing
Ignacio Vásquez stood out by obtaining the gold medal in the men’s single sculls (LM1x) event, demonstrating his dominance at Cantolao beach, La Punta. Vásquez completed the 200 meters with a time of 1:31.96, adding his second medal in the event, after the silver obtained in the lightweight double sculls.In other competitions, Vásquez and Jancarlos Tineo finished in fifth place in the men’s double sculls (M2X) with a time of 1:30.97. In the women’s category, Wendy Simó Peña and Alisson Galay Morales did not manage to complete their race in W2X. For Thursday, the participation of Vásquez, Tineo, Simó and Galay in the mixed quadruple sculls (4Mx+) is expected.Venezuelan Andre Ricardo Mora Sosa won silver (1:35.30) and Peruvian César Cipriani Robles took the bronze (1:36.90).

Dominican athletics added two silver medals in the relay races held at the Videna Athletic Stadium.The men’s 4×100 relay team, composed of Christopher Reyes, Melbin José Marcelino Olivo, Lidio Andrés Feliz, and Yancarlos Martínez, recorded a time of 39.20 seconds, securing the silver. Colombia took the gold with a Bolivarian record of 38.73, while Venezuela obtained the bronze with 39.31.

Judo
The Dominican judo team won the bronze medal in the mixed team event, after defeating Peru 4-1. The team had a competitive performance, although they lost 2-3 to Colombia and 1-4 to Venezuela, finishing third in the overall standings with nine medals: 3 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze.Boxing
Dominican boxing secured two bronze medals thanks to the performances of Elen Roble (51 kg) and Johan Agüero Montaño (60 kg). In addition, José Agustín advanced to the final in the +90 kg category, guaranteeing at least silver after defeating Bolivian Jimmy Quiroz by RSC. José Agustín will face Gerlon Congo from Ecuador in the final. Elen Roble was defeated 0-5 by the Peruvian Ana Baylon, and Agüero lost by RSC in the second round against the Colombian Yilmar González.Bowling

Colombian Manuel Torres leads with 132 strokes, after a round of 64. Juan José Guerra, from the Dominican Republic, is in seventh place with 140 strokes, after a second round of 68.
