PSG Seeks to Annul Embargo and Claims a Millionaire Sum from Mbappé

Paris – Paris Saint-Germain has filed a request with the French justice system to invalidate the seizure of its accounts, while also demanding a considerable sum from its former striker, Kylian Mbappé, currently with Real Madrid.

The request, according to sources close to the matter, involves the lifting of the 55 million euro embargo that Mbappé had placed on the club’s accounts in April. This embargo originated from salary and bonus payments which, according to the player, were not paid by PSG.

Additionally, the Parisian club is claiming 98 million euros from Mbappé.

In early April, the French footballer, now at Real Madrid, obtained the right to a precautionary seizure of approximately 55 million euros, while other legal proceedings were being resolved.

In Monday’s hearing before the enforcement judge, PSG’s legal representatives argued that Mbappé did not present sufficient evidence to justify the existence of the debt, nor did he demonstrate a real threat in the recovery of the funds.
