Omar Fernández Celebrates Dominican Passion at the World Baseball Classic
Miami – Senator of the National District, Omar Fernández, shared his enthusiasm for the vibrant atmosphere experienced in the semi-final game of the World Baseball Classic, where the Dominican Republic faced the United States at LoanDepot Park.
The legislator highlighted the electrifying atmosphere of the stadium, which welcomed more than 35,000 fans to witness the exciting match. Fernández expressed his pride in the Dominican team’s performance in reaching this crucial stage of the tournament.
In statements, the senator valued the talent of the Dominican team and highlighted the leadership of Albert Pujols, as well as the outstanding performance of key players such as Juan Soto and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
“It is beautiful to see the country united in the same cause. Here, there is no distinction of colors, parties, or flags; here we are all Dominicans,” he expressed.
Fernández also expressed his hope that the national team will advance to the final of the championship. He highlighted the massive presence of Dominican fans in Miami, emphasizing how baseball has the ability to unite the nation, transcending political and social differences.
