OD Gymnastics Academy Celebrates Resounding Success at the OD Gym Cup 2025
Santo Domingo – The OD Gymnastics Academy commemorated its 16th anniversary with the successful OD Gym Cup 2025, an event that marked the end of a year full of triumphs for the academy. In this edition, the academy reaffirmed its dominance by winning all national and international cups in which it competed. The competition, held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, brought together more than 250 athletes from various categories and levels at the Sport Halls of the New Horizons School, located in the National District.This edition held a special meaning as it was dedicated to the renowned Dominican baseball player Octavio Dotel, in recognition of his exemplary career and his example of discipline and self-improvement for young people. The dedication served as an inspiration for the athletes, who competed with passion and dedication.
The participating gymnasts offered high-level technical exhibitions, demonstrating the athletes’ commitment and the hard work of their coaches. The event took place in an atmosphere of organization, excitement, and family support, highlighting the relevance of artistic gymnastics as a means of integral development. OD Gymnastics Academy, celebrating 16 years and establishing itself as a national leader, deeply thanks the families, judges, collaborators, and volunteers who made this cup possible, as well as the institutions and personalities who supported this special edition. The academy reiterates its commitment to the promotion of this sport in the Dominican Republic and to the creation of competitive spaces that promote the physical, emotional, and social growth of its athletes.
