Lando Norris Wins Qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in the Rain

Lando Norris, in a display of exceptional skill, conquered the pole position at the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix. The qualifying session, marked by rain and a slippery track, tested the dexterity of the drivers. The British McLaren driver surpassed Max Verstappen by a minimal difference, with Verstappen securing second place on the grid. Carlos Sainz, with Ferrari, stood out and will start third. Óscar Piastri, Norris’ teammate, couldn’t find the right pace and finished fifth, also surpassed by George Russell of Mercedes, who placed fourth.

Racing Bulls Surprises in Qualifying

The changing weather conditions allowed the Racing Bulls drivers to shine. Liam Lawson achieved a meritorious sixth place and Isack Hadjar positioned eighth. Fernando Alonso, demonstrating his experience in the rain, drove his Aston Martin to a competitive seventh position.

Leclerc and Hamilton Out of the Game

Charles Leclerc, with Ferrari, couldn’t control his car and mistakes relegated him to ninth place. Lewis Hamilton, for his part, finished in last position, suffering off-track excursions and grip problems. Franco Colapinto, with Alpine, achieved the 15th position, while Pierre Gasly completed the top 10. With a weather-affected grid and several surprises, the Las Vegas Grand Prix promises a race full of strategy and possible changes in the performance of the competitors.
