Santo Domingo. The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has issued a crucial statement this Saturday, informing about the situation of Dominican players currently competing in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

According to the report, all Dominican athletes participating in the LVBP are in good condition and properly protected.

LIDOM has maintained a fluid and constant communication with the LVBP, establishing a direct dialogue with its president, Giuseppe Palmisano.

After contacting the Venezuelan teams, Palmisano confirmed that the Dominican players are safe and receiving the necessary support.

So far, LIDOM assures that no situation has been reported that compromises the physical integrity or safety of Dominican players participating in Venezuelan professional baseball.

In addition to information about the players, LIDOM expressed its solidarity with the Venezuelan people, reiterating its respect and support for the political situation the country is going through.
