The selection process will be extended over 16 rounds, according to an official statement from the league.
Eligible prospects come from various sources, including the organizations of the 30 Major League teams, independent leagues, and Asian baseball.
Players who have reached, at a minimum, the Low-A class category as of August 1st, as well as players from the Summer League who are 23 years old or older, have been considered.
Selection Order

- Gigantes del Cibao
- Leones del Escogido
- Tigres del Licey

However, variations are anticipated in the sixth round, where the Escogido will have the first turn of the Toros, and in the ninth round, in which the Licey will select first instead of the Romanense franchise.
The live broadcast of the Draft will be available through Digital 15 and the official Lidom TV platform on YouTube.
This event will serve as a prelude to the start of the 2025-2026 Winter Baseball Championship, scheduled for October 15th. The tournament will be dedicated to Juan Marichal, a member of the Cooperstown Hall of Fame.
