Leones del Escogido will celebrate championship with a parade in Santo Domingo
The Leones del Escogido, after obtaining their number 18 crown in the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), will take their triumph to the streets of the capital this Thursday starting at 3:00 in the afternoon.
The team will hold its traditional champions’ caravan, an event awaited by the red fanbase.
The parade will begin at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, going through important avenues of the National District and ending at the same starting point.

The championship was decided on Tuesday, January 27, with a 1-0 victory over the Toros del Este in the fifth game of the Final Series, with an overall score of 4-1 in favor of the Leones.
This triumph represents the return of the scarlet team to the top of Dominican winter baseball, solidifying their position as one of the most successful organizations in the country.
The Leones del Escogido are in third place historically in championships.
The caravan will be an opportunity to celebrate a memorable season with the fans.
