In exchange, utility player Jorge Mateo joins the green team. Rosario, 26 years old, has a solid career in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), having played for the Toros del Este, Águilas Cibaeñas and Estrellas Orientales. In his league career, Rosario has participated in 99 games, showing a batting average of .254, with 7 home runs, 42 RBIs, 19 doubles, 46 runs scored, and an OPS of .721. His most notable performance was recorded in the 2024-25 season, where he exhibited an offensive line of .336/.395/.509, hitting 4 home runs and driving in 20 runs in 31 games.

In addition to his experience in the LIDOM, Rosario has participated in Major League Baseball with the San Diego Padres between 2022 and 2024, where he achieved an OPS of .783, with 7 doubles, 5 home runs, 11 runs scored and 12 RBIs.
