San Cristóbal, R.D. – With a vibrant atmosphere and the unconditional support of the fans, the 35th edition of the Superior Basketball Tournament of San Cristóbal (TBS San Cristóbal 2025) began. The opening day left exciting victories for the teams Laguneros de Madre Vieja Norte and Lobos de Canastica.
In the first match of the double header, held in the covered sports center of San Cristóbal, the Laguneros de Madre Vieja Norte demonstrated their power by defeating the Avispones de Pueblo Nuevo with a score of 84 to 73. The match was characterized by the offensive intensity of both teams and the outstanding performance of their reinforcements.
For the Laguneros, the reinforcement Jefry Abreu emerged as the offensive figure of the match, accumulating 33 points, 9 rebounds, and a significant impact on both sides of the court. Alfredo Pérez, also a reinforcement, contributed 19 crucial points.
