Despite Jalen Brunson’s 31 points and Karl-Anthony Towns’ double-double, with 23 points and 14 rebounds, the New York team failed to prevail.

Spurs and Rockets Fall at Home

In San Antonio, the Spurs suffered another defeat without the presence of Victor Wembanyama, who was absent due to injury. The Portland Trail Blazers took the victory 115-110, led by Deni Avdija, who achieved a triple-double with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Meanwhile, in Dallas, the Mavericks defeated the Houston Rockets 110-104. Anthony Davis led the Mavericks with a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. Max Christie contributed 24 points, and rookie Cooper Flagg finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

In Miami, the Heat saw their four-game winning streak snapped, falling 125-115 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 33 points, supported by Naz Reid (29) and Julius Randle (23), who combined for 85 points.
