Jordan Hall gives the Metros the victory over the Royals in a dramatic finish
La Vega – Jordan Hall became the hero of the night by scoring the winning shot with only 13.9 seconds remaining on the clock, securing an exciting victory for the Metros de Santiago over the Reales de La Vega with a final score of 92-90. The match, corresponding to the regular round of the Super Liga LNB, took place in the Palacio de los Deportes Fernando Teruel.
Hall’s mid-range shot completed the Metros’ comeback, who remain undefeated in the season with an impressive 6-0 record. On the other hand, the Royals (3-3) saw their three-game winning streak interrupted.
The play that made the difference occurred after a foul, with the score indicating 89-90. Adris de León stole the ball on the sideline inbounds and assisted Jordan Gerónimo, who was fouled and tied the game from the free-throw line, setting the stage for Hall’s decisive shot.
On the Metros’ side, Hall and Anthony Fairley led the offense with 16 points each. Troy Cracknell stood out with 22 points. Adris de León contributed 12 points and eight assists, while Florent Tamba achieved a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
For the Royals, Anderson Mirambeaux was the top scorer with 19 points, followed by Malachi Richardson with 12 units and seven rebounds. Darius McNeill and Keith Williams contributed 11 points each.
The Royals dominated the first half, achieving a 58-45 lead thanks to their high offensive effectiveness and control of rebounds. However, the Metros adjusted their defense and managed to reduce the difference, completing the comeback in an intense final quarter.
