INEFI Inaugurates the VIII Physical Education Class Competition 2025

The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) launched the “VIII Physical Education Class Competition 2025” at the Dominican Olympic Hostel. This event seeks to highlight the best practices in the teaching of physical education and promote innovative strategies for teaching performance. Alberto Rodríguez Mella, executive director of INEFI, led the inauguration, highlighting the importance of the contest for the education system.

This contest is not just a competition, but a celebration of the alliance that strengthens our schools and promotes the comprehensive education of our boys, girls, and adolescents.

The contest, which has the participation of 54 teachers, 18 delegates and 21 judges from the 18 educational regions, is coordinated by the Teaching Directorate of INEFI, led by Dr. Manuel Alejandro Morel. Morel highlighted the support of Rodríguez Mella to strengthen the training of teachers. The main objective of the contest is to integrate teachers from the public and private sectors, promoting the efficient use of resources and collaborative work to improve the quality of physical education in schools. Furthermore, the aim is to promote the use of updated and innovative methodologies to optimize the teaching-learning process. The conference, which will run until Friday, November 28, seeks to encourage the exchange of experiences and the socialization of successful practices, offering a space for teachers to share methods and pedagogical approaches. The contest classes will be held in several educational centers in the National District, including San Pío X, Our Lady of Faith, and the Unión Panamericana High School. In the opening ceremony were present Elvis Duarte, deputy director of INEFI, Manuel Alejandro Morel, teaching director, and José Luis Bautista, general director of the Dominican Olympic Hostel.
