INEFI Boosts Sports in Azua: Mobile Court and Equipment Delivery

Azua – The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), through its “Athletes with INEFI” program, has made a significant donation in the Los Restauradores neighborhood of the municipality of Azua. The delivery included a mobile basketball court and various sports equipment, with the aim of promoting sports practice and healthy recreation among the youth of the community. This initiative aims to positively impact children, adolescents, and young people in the area, promoting healthy lifestyles and integral development through physical activity. The delivery of the court and sports materials was finalized after the dissemination of a video on social media that showed the need for sports spaces in the sector. The handover ceremony was presided over by the person in charge of the “Athletes with INEFI” program, the outstanding high-performance athlete and national judo champion, María García, following the guidelines of the general director of INEFI, Alberto Rodríguez. García was accompanied by a commission from the institution to formalize the donation. In the activity were present Professor Víctor Pérez, representing INEFI; the regional Education advisor, Robert Brito; supervisors from the Educational District 03-01 of Azua, as well as students, teachers, and personalities related to the area of Physical Education. The local community expressed its satisfaction with the initiative, highlighting its social and sporting impact on the sector.
