San Francisco de Macorís – The Gigantes del Cibao have revealed their starting pitcher rotation for the next four games of the regular season. The information was provided by manager José Leger, who highlighted the relevance of maintaining consistency in the pitching staff.
For tonight’s game against the Toros del Este, right-handed pitcher Emilio Vargas will be in charge of opening the game. The match is scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Francisco Micheli Stadium in La Romana.
On Friday, at the Julián Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macorís, the left-handed Steve Moyers will take the mound to start the 7:00 PM game against the Águilas Cibaeñas.
On Saturday, also at the Julián Javier, but at 5:00 PM, right-hander Wily Peralta will be the starting pitcher against the Tigres del Licey.
Finally, on Sunday in San Pedro de Macorís, the experienced pitcher Shane Greene will take the mound at 5:00 PM to face the Estrellas Orientales, thus completing the announced rotation.
The team’s management reaffirms its faith in its pitchers to continue competing at the highest level during the season.
