The Dominican team’s performance in this phase was impeccable, finishing undefeated in the group stage. With six points in the general standings and a positive differential of +30, the team is positioned as one of the strongest in the tournament.
The road to this victory included a solid start against Colombia, followed by an exciting match against Argentina that was decided in extra time in favor of the Dominican selection.
In the match against Nicaragua, Ángel Núñez shone with 17 points, eight rebounds, and an impressive 6 of 11 in field goals, including four three-pointers.
