MEXICO CITY – Robinson Canó, star of the Diablos Rojos del México and Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2024 season of the Mexican Baseball League, has started the second half of the campaign with an impressive mark, reaching 100 hits.Canó, who was a key player in the recent LMB All-Star Game, where he hit a home run, has demonstrated his leadership on the field.On Monday, Canó achieved his 100th hit of the season, and by Wednesday he was already leading the league in hits, totaling 106. This achievement adds to his outstanding participation in the All-Star Game.
After the regular season break, Canó has maintained a batting average of .459 (17-37) in eight games, with seven RBIs. This has raised his stats to a .377 average with 61 RBIs, positioning him as second and first place on the team in these categories, respectively.Canó has participated in 64 of the 66 games of the Diablos Rojos, who lead the South Zone with a record of 46-20, maintaining a 12-game lead over their closest competitor.Sometimes God takes you out of one place and takes you to another so you can make better use of your time… Seeing people in a full stadium is spectacular.
