Santo Domingo, RD. – The Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedom) continues to build a dream team for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. The entity officially confirmed the participation of Junior Caminero, one of the young baseball prospects, who will fulfill the desire to represent the Dominican Republic in the prestigious tournament.
Caminero, recognized for his great projection in the Major Leagues, joins a group of players that combines youth and experience, raising expectations about the performance of the Dominican team.
In addition to Caminero, the Federation announced the incorporation of pitchers Albert Abreu, Edwin Uceta, and Huáscar Brazobán. Shortstop Jeremy Peña, who will repeat his participation after his outstanding performance in the 2023 edition, also joins.
This series of incorporations demonstrates the Dominican Baseball Federation’s commitment to forming a competitive and balanced team, with the aim of excelling in each match of the tournament.
