Miami, USA – Guard Bradley Beal has reached an agreement to terminate his contract with the Phoenix Suns, the team he played for during the last two seasons of the NBA. According to reports, he is expected to join the Los Angeles Clippers. Sources close to the situation indicate that Beal and the Suns have reached an agreement. It is expected that the player will sign with the Los Angeles team for two years, with an income of 11 million dollars, including a player option. Beal, a three-time 32-year-old All-Star, will join the Clippers, where he will share the court with figures like Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. The Clippers aim to maximize their chances of obtaining the franchise’s first championship with this trio of veterans.

In the past season, Beal averaged 17 points per game, with a 49.7% field goal percentage. In addition, he added 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. These figures were below the expectations the Suns had when they signed him in June 2023. The Clippers finished the regular season in fifth place in the Western Conference, with a record of 50 wins and 32 losses. Their participation in the playoffs concluded in the first round, after a close series against the Denver Nuggets that extended to the seventh game.
