Santo Domingo – Sports Minister Kelvin Cruz announced this Monday the official launch of the 2025 Border Sports Games. This large-scale event will bring together more than 2,000 athletes from the border provinces, promising to be an unprecedented sporting spectacle. The presentation took place at the Dominican Sports Museum, where Minister Cruz expressed his enthusiasm for this ambitious project.
The contest will include 14 sports disciplines, offering a wide variety of competitions.“We are incredibly excited to celebrate these games. This initiative underscores our commitment to talent development throughout the border area, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the strengthening of community ties in our bordering provinces,” declared Cruz.
