Antonio Guzmán and Savica Secure Their Spot in the TBS Higüey 2025 Semifinals
Higüey, La Altagracia. The Antonio Guzmán club qualified for the semifinal series of the 50th Torneo de Baloncesto Superior Altagraciano (TBS Higüey 2025), after defeating Cambelén with a score of 93-81.
This triumph, along with Savica’s outstanding performance, consolidates both teams in the next phase of the tournament. Both teams lead the table with a 6-4 record.
The meeting took place at the Leo Tavárez sports center in Higüey.José Castillo led the Antonio Guzmán offense with 29 points, followed by Ariel De León with 25 points. Santiago reinforcement Oliver García achieved a double-double, adding 24 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds.

In another exciting match of the day, San Francisco defeated Savica with a score of 102-92, thanks to the outstanding performance of Luis Feliz, who scored 31 points.
