Anthony Joshua Suffers Traffic Accident in Nigeria
The renowned British boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a car accident on the Lagos–Ibadan expressway, near Sagamu, his family’s hometown. This was confirmed by official sources.
According to initial reports from the Nigerian police, the vehicle in which the former world champion was traveling collided with a truck parked on the road. The accident was caused by a tire burst, which caused the loss of control of the car.
Unfortunately, the impact resulted in the loss of two lives at the scene of the incident. For his part, Anthony Joshua suffered minor injuries and was transferred to a nearby medical center, where he received care and is reported to be stable.
This event occurs shortly after Joshua secured a knockout victory, marking his triumphant return to the ring.
