SAN CRISTÓBAL – In an exciting match corresponding to matchday 15 of the Dominican Republic Football League (LDF) playoffs, Juan Ángeles, star forward of MOCA FC, celebrated his 40th goal in the competition, although the match ended in a 1-1 draw against Universidad OYM. The MOCA FC took the lead on the scoreboard thanks to a header by Juan Ángeles in the 39th minute. The assist came from Keudy Jiménez, allowing Ángeles not only to put his team ahead, but also to achieve an important personal milestone in his career. The first half concluded with a minimal 1-0 advantage for the team led by Jean Carlos Guell, marking the end of the Liguilla phase for both teams. In the second half, OYM University reacted and managed to tie the match in the 70th minute. MOCA FC tried to regain the lead with attempts by Yohan Parra and Gustavo Ascona, but the rival defense managed to maintain the tie. The match, held at the Pan American Stadium in San Cristóbal, remained contested until the end. In the final minutes of the game, Johnny Parima had a clear opportunity in the 90+2 minute, but failed to score, sealing the tie between both teams.
