Young man captured with vehicle reported as stolen in La Vega
National Police agents managed to arrest Wanderlyn de la Cruz Minaya, a 20-year-old man, after he was caught in possession of a car that appeared in police records as stolen in the city of La Vega.
The recovered vehicle is a gray 2019 Kia K5. According to the official report, the unit did not have its identification plate at the time authorities proceeded with its seizure.
Operation details
The location of the car was initially carried out in the city of Nagua. After the discovery, both the vehicle and the detainee were transferred to the jurisdiction of La Vega to continue with the relevant legal procedures.
The detainee and the seized vehicle will be placed at the disposal of the justice system for the corresponding legal purposes.
