National Police warns: tough stance against crime in the country
The Director General of the National Police, Major General Ernesto Rodríguez García, sent a strong message to those who operate outside the law: the institution will maintain a firm and decisive stance to preserve public order, peaceful coexistence, and the safety of all citizens.
During his statement, the high-ranking police official stressed that each of the agents’ interventions will be carried out in strict adherence to the Constitution and current laws. Likewise, he emphasized that the use of force by uniformed officers will follow international protocols, always guaranteeing proportionality in the fulfillment of their duty.
The warning to offenders
Rodríguez García was clear in establishing the options available to those individuals involved in illicit activities. According to the director, the path is simple: choose legality or surrender voluntarily to the relevant authorities.
Those who have committed or intend to commit criminal acts have two paths: do not commit crimes or turn themselves in through the means they consider appropriate. Otherwise, they will be actively sought, arrested, and placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
