DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Kaulig Racing is preparing to be Ram’s primary partner in its anticipated return to NASCAR in 2026. The announcement was made by team owner Matt Kaulig during an event at a Ram dealership in Daytona Beach. Kaulig Racing, which currently competes in other NASCAR series, will field five vehicles in the Truck Series. Although the drivers who will occupy these seats have not yet been announced, the expectation is high among fans. Kaulig Racing’s structure will be the only one to represent Ram in the Truck Series. The truck teams will operate from Kaulig’s facilities in Welcome, North Carolina.

This partnership represents much more than a new chapter in the history of Kaulig Racing. It is a union of shared values. Over the last decade, our team has built a legacy based on performance, integrity, and contribution to the community. Now, joining forces as the primary team for Ram’s return to NASCAR is both an honor and a responsibility. Together, we are ready to set a new standard on race day and in the impact we generate off the track.

Matt Kaulig, Owner of Kaulig Racing
Ram’s return to the Truck Series will mark his first participation in the series since 2012. The decision to partner with Kaulig Racing was strategic, seeking an alignment that reflected the brand’s vision.

We needed a partner who truly aligned with the Ram brand and embraced our unconventional approach to NASCAR. With Kaulig Racing, we found the perfect synergy to drive our ‘Last Tenth’ culture.

Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Ram
While Kaulig Racing prepares to venture into the Truck Series with Ram, it will continue to compete with Chevrolet in the Xfinity and Cup series. Currently, the team has two full-time entries in the Cup Series and three in the Xfinity Series. This collaboration represents the first time Kaulig Racing participates in the Truck Series. The team began its NASCAR journey in 2016 in the Xfinity Series and expanded to the Cup Series in 2021.
