Denny Hamlin Earns 60th Victory in Las Vegas and Secures a Spot in the NASCAR Final

In an emotional weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Denny Hamlin took his sixth checkered flag of the season, marking his 60th career victory. This achievement, dedicated to his father, who is facing health issues, secures him a place in the NASCAR championship final. Hamlin, recognized as one of the most outstanding drivers without a Cup Series title, returns to the race for the championship since 2021. This triumph not only consolidates him as the most successful driver of Joe Gibbs Racing, but also of Toyota. With this victory, Hamlin ties for tenth place on the NASCAR wins list, alongside Kevin Harvick. The race was intense, with Hamlin overtaking Kyle Larson and his teammate Chase Briscoe in the final laps. Hamlin had expressed his disappointment at not achieving his 60th victory at Kansas Speedway, but finally achieved it in Las Vegas.

I’m happy that I could see the 60th victory. That was very important to me.
