Revealed Fight Card for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua

Most Valuable Promotions has unveiled the fight card for the highly anticipated match between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will be streamed live via Netflix. The fight card, which was originally planned for Paul’s match with Gervonta Davis, remains largely intact. The co-main event will be Alycia Baumgardner’s defense of the unified super featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin. However, some significant changes have occurred. Anderson Silva will not face Chris Weidman in the initial fight. Instead, Tyron Woodley will step into the ring to face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight bout. Both Silva and Woodley have suffered defeats against Jake Paul in the past. Silva lost by unanimous decision to Paul in 2022, while Woodley lost both fights against “The Problem Child”, one by split decision in August 2021 and the other by knockout in the rematch in December of the same year.

I believe that changes always happen for a reason. I am focused on doing a good job. Always respecting my opponent and showing total respect for the world of boxing.

Anderson Silva
Weidman was forced to withdraw from the fight against Silva due to an injury. Woodley, who was the UFC welterweight champion from 2016 to 2019, will seek his first boxing victory against one of the greatest champions in the history of mixed martial arts.

Seizing opportunities like this is where legends are born.

The preliminary card will include the defense of the undisputed bantamweight title of Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson against Amanda Galle, Yokasta Valle putting her WBC strawweight title on the line against Yadira Bustillos and Avious Griffin facing Justin Cardona in a welterweight bout. Keno Marley, two-time Brazilian Olympian, will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight bout against Diarra Davis. The WBA super lightweight title fight between champion Gary Antuanne Russell and Andy Hiraoka is no longer part of the card. Nakisa Bidarian, CEO of Most Valuable Promotions, stated that the match between Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley is an iconic confrontation that continues to elevate the Jake vs. Joshua event to one of the most exciting combat sports events of the decade. Furthermore, he added that the inclusion of Alycia Baumgardner as co-main and the presentation of a card packed with champions make December 19th a potentially unforgettable night in boxing history.
