Pablo López Returns to Action with the Twins

The Minnesota Twins received great news this Friday: the return of right-handed pitcher Pablo López from his rehabilitation period. López, who was on the 60-day injured list, was reinstated and ready to take the mound at the start of the three-game series against the Kansas City Royals.

López was out of action for three months due to a strain in the teres major muscle of his throwing shoulder. The injury occurred during his last start with the Twins on June 3rd.

During his rehabilitation, the pitcher participated in three starts with the Triple-A St. Paul team, where he recorded an ERA of 3.18 in 11 and a third innings.

Before the injury, Lopez was showing a standout performance with the Twins, with a 5-3 record and an ERA of 2.82 in 11 starts. His batting average against was .225.
