Toronto Teams Adjust Schedules to Support Blue Jays in World Series

Toronto, Canada – The Maple Leafs and the Raptors have adjusted the schedules of their upcoming games to avoid any conflicts with the Blue Jays’ World Series games. The measure aims to ensure that sports fans in Toronto can enjoy this important event.

“Toronto sports fans are undoubtedly some of the most passionate in the world, and we are proud that the city’s teams are coming together to give these fans the opportunity to experience a significant moment in the history of our city and nation.”

The Rogers Centre, located in downtown Toronto, will host games 1 and 2 of the World Series, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, respectively. Both games are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET. The Raptors’ home opener against Milwaukee, originally scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m., was moved up to 6:30 p.m. Likewise, the Maple Leafs’ game against Buffalo on Saturday was moved from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Maple Leafs have also adjusted the schedule of their game next Tuesday against Calgary, which will start at 6 p.m. The Raptors will host Houston at 6:30 p.m. on October 29. Games 3-5 of the World Series are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

“Each of these changes to game schedules is quite complicated and represents the cooperation of many stakeholders, including the respective leagues, the Leafs, Raptors and opposing teams’ coaches and players, and the broadcasters. We are grateful to them all for their help as we work to make this a very special moment for Toronto fans, as we come together to support the Blue Jays.”
