Josh Hader, Astros closer, suffers shoulder discomfort

HOUSTON – Astros All-Star closer Josh Hader was unavailable on Monday night due to shoulder discomfort. Manager Joe Espada reported after Houston’s 7-6 victory over the Red Sox that the left-handed pitcher “simply didn’t feel right” after a workout on Monday. The Astros sent Hader for medical tests.

We are waiting for those results and should have more information tomorrow.
