Dodgers Achieve Historic Attendance Figure

The Los Angeles Dodgers surpassed 4 million fans this season, an unprecedented milestone in the franchise’s history and a standout achievement in Major League Baseball. The Dodgers join a select group of only 10 teams in MLB history to reach this figure. The mark was reached with an attendance of 46,601 fans in the last home regular season game against the San Francisco Giants. The 2025 regular season concluded with a total attendance of 4,012,470, representing an average of 49,537 fans per game.

It’s incredible that these fans are present and support us every day. There’s a reason why I believe we have the best fans in sports. The numbers prove it. You could feel the excitement of the fans this weekend and how the players responded. It’s been great.

Dave Roberts, Manager
The Dodger Stadium, with a capacity of 56,000 spectators, has led MLB in attendance in 12 of the last 13 seasons, with the exception of 2020 due to pandemic restrictions. The Dodgers have clinched their postseason berth for the thirteenth consecutive year since 2013, tying for the second-longest playoff streak in baseball history. Shohei Ohtani’s popularity also contributes to the Dodgers leading the league in away game attendance, attracting an average of 35,118 fans to rival stadiums in 2025. Los Angeles finishes the regular season with a six-game series in Arizona and Seattle. During the season, the Dodgers had more than 50,000 fans in 46 of their 81 home games, and never recorded an attendance below 40,000. In addition to on-field successes, the Dodgers keep their fans happy with giveaways during the season, including very popular bobblehead nights. The Dodgers did not surpass 3 million in attendance until the 1978 season, but they have now achieved this figure 36 times.
