CINCINNATI – The Milwaukee Brewers continue their dominance over the Cincinnati Reds, securing their 12th consecutive series with a resounding 9-1 victory on Wednesday. Isaac Collins led the offense with a three-run homer, while Jackson Chourio and Daz Cameron contributed with two-run home runs each. The Reds’ pitcher, Andrew Abbott, who had maintained an impressive 0.55 ERA in May, suffered his first loss of the season. The Brewers took the lead in the third inning with a single by Andruw Monasterio, driving in Brice Turang, who had previously hit a double. Chourio extended the lead in the fifth inning with a two-run home run, his tenth of the season.
In the sixth inning, Cameron hit a two-run home run, marking his first home run since July 2024.
Collins sealed the victory in the ninth inning with his second home run of the season, a three-run shot against Wade Miley. DL Hall opened for the Brewers, allowing one hit in three innings. Quinn Priester earned the win, allowing one run in five innings.Despite having the bases loaded with an out in the third inning, the Reds failed to score. Hall managed to strike out Santiago Espinal and Elly De La Cruz to end the threat.
Milwaukee has demonstrated its superiority over Cincinnati, with a record of 42-16 in the last 58 games.
