Amidst the celebration and effusiveness, Christian Yelich, a key player for the Milwaukee Brewers, expressed his satisfaction after securing the third consecutive title of the National League Central Division. The victory came thanks to the defeat of the Chicago Cubs against the Cincinnati Reds, thus sealing the Brewers’ triumph. “This is why,” Yelich said, referring to the dedication and effort invested throughout the season. “It’s for these moments that we celebrate with our teammates.” With the best record in the league, the Brewers have demonstrated their dominance, although they feel like the “underdogs” heading into the playoffs.

“Any team can beat anyone, especially in short series. We won’t be the favorites, but that gives us freedom,” added Yelich, highlighting the team’s mentality.
