Southern Hills Country Club is set to make history by hosting its sixth PGA Championship in 2032, the PGA of America announced this Tuesday.
This prestigious golf course, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, already has a rich history in the tournament. Recently, it hosted the championship in 2022, where Justin Thomas won after an exciting playoff against Will Zalatoris.
The field’s legacy also includes Tiger Woods’ victory at the 2007 PGA Championship.
Since 1970, Southern Hills has been the venue for five PGA Championships. In addition, it has hosted the U.S. Open in the years 1958, 1977, and 2001.
Meanwhile, the golf world’s attention is focused on the upcoming 2025 PGA Championship, to be held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
