Sei Young Kim Wins the BMW Ladies Championship

Seasoned golfer Sei Young Kim, with a decade of experience on the LPGA Tour, clinched victory at the BMW Ladies Championship after an impressive final round of 67 strokes. This triumph represents the 13th title in Kim’s career since she joined the tour in 2015, and ends a five-year winless streak, since her previous triumph at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2020. Kim, 32, completed the tournament with a score of 24 under par, with a total of 264 strokes at the Pine Beach Golf Links course, on the Korean peninsula. The South Korean golfer only made one mistake on the 3rd hole, but then reacted with six birdies to secure the victory over her closest competitor, Nasa Hataoka. Hataoka, from Japan, also signed a final round of 67 strokes, finishing with a total of 20 under par, with 268 strokes. Celine Boutier (67) and Kim A-lim (66) shared third position, two strokes away. Defending champion Hannah Green shot a round of 66, finishing in fifth place with a total of 17 under par, tied with Yealimi Noh of the United States, who shot 70. Lindy Duncan, also American, was one stroke behind, tied for seventh place with South Koreans Choi Hye-jin and An Na-rin, who shot the lowest round of the day with 63.
