Woad, currently number 1 in the world amateur ranking, entered the final round with a seven-stroke lead. His performance culminated in a round of 69 strokes, four under par, solidifying his position.

The 21-year-old finished the tournament with a total of 21 under par, surpassing by six strokes the Swedish Madelene Sagstrom, who took second place. New Zealander Amelia Garvey placed third.

The last time an amateur managed to win a Ladies European Tour event was in 2022, when Jana Melichova was crowned champion at the Czech Ladies Open.
