Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Steven Alker lead the Kaulig Companies Championship

In an exciting day at the Kaulig Companies Championship, Spaniard Miguel Ángel Jiménez and New Zealander Steven Alker share the top of the leaderboard. Jiménez, with an outstanding performance, achieved a score of 66 strokes, four under par, matching the performance of Alker, who also signed a 67. Jiménez, seeking his fourth victory of the year, shone on the Firestone South course, excelling in a streak of five holes where he added four birdies. The 61-year-old golfer demonstrated his experience and precision in each shot. Alker, who was already leading the second round, maintained his pace and joined Jiménez at the top with a total of 202 strokes, eight under par.

The winner of the tournament will obtain a place in the prestigious The Players Championship next year.
