Golf 5 Receives Major Update with New Multiplayer Modes

AAA Game Studios has released a major update for Golf 5, its virtual reality golf simulator. This new version introduces exciting multiplayer modes and significant improvements to the gaming experience.

New Game Modes to Compete

The “Playoff Edition” update stands out for the inclusion of three new multiplayer modes that promise intense competitions:
  • Fourball Mode: Two teams of two players compete, but only the score of the best player from each team counts.
  • Flash 3 Holes Mode: Fast and exciting competitions on three holes.
  • Scramble Mode: Four players collaborate, where the best shot determines the next shot.

New Fields and Improvements

In addition to the new modes, the update includes two remastered golf courses: Forest Parkland and Tropical Paradise. Players will be able to enjoy 9 and 18-hole games on these maps, adding to the original Golden Dunes course and the seven real golf courses available, such as St. Andrews Old Course and Royal County Down. Golf 5 offers physics-based gameplay and a wide range of control settings to adjust swings, including support for golf control accessories.

Improved Stability and Accuracy

Developers have also made improvements to bug fixes and game stability, making the experience smoother. A new detection system prevents certain movements from being accidentally registered as hits, which improves the accuracy of the controls. Golf 5 is available on Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Pico 4.
