Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida – Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, has achieved a hole-in-one for the second consecutive year, marking a milestone at the Junior Players Championship.
The 16-year-old golfer achieved the feat on the third hole of the TPC Sawgrass during the final round of the tournament. As in the PNC Championship last December, the excitement of the public confirmed the success of the shot.
Charlie Woods finished the competition with a score of 72 strokes, earning him a tie for 31st place in the American Junior Golf Association event, held on the same course where his father achieved two victories in the Players Championship.
In the championship, Woods finished 16 strokes behind Miles Russell, who took the victory with a round of 70 strokes.
In addition to Woods’ achievement, Guus Lafeber, representing the Netherlands, also achieved a hole-in-one on the eighth hole, finishing in 19th place.
