Charlie Woods continues to amaze with another hole-in-one
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of Tiger Woods, has achieved another spectacular hole-in-one, demonstrating his talent in the world of golf. The young golfer achieved the feat on the third hole of the TPC Sawgrass during the final round of the Junior Players Championship on Sunday. Just like in last December’s PNC Championship, Charlie didn’t immediately realize the ball had gone in the hole until he heard the reaction of the public. Charlie Woods finished with a round of 72 strokes, tying for 31st place in the American Junior Golf Association event, which was held at the Stadium course, where his father earned two victories in the Players Championship. In this instance, he finished 16 strokes behind Miles Russell, who finished with 70 strokes and took the victory by two strokes. Russell, for his part, reached the semifinals of the U.S. Amateur earlier this month and is an alternate for the Walker Cup.On Sunday, in addition to Charlie Woods, another player achieved a hole-in-one. Guus Lafeber, from the Netherlands, accomplished the feat on the 8th hole, a par 3, and finished in 19th place.
