Caitlin Clark Ready for a Comeback… to Golf!

Basketball star Caitlin Clark is preparing for a new challenge, but this time off the court. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will return to action, but on the golf course. Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament, an LPGA Tour event to be held next month.

I had an incredible experience at The Annika last November, participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in this sport.

The pro-am will take place on November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. Last year, Clark, fresh off her first season in the WNBA and being the Rookie of the Year, attracted a large crowd and generated great enthusiasm. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of the event. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She only played 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Although the Indiana Fever reached the playoffs again, they were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
